Clear CMOS

CMOS is a memory which store data or hardware computer components mounted in it, if the CMOS does not work with the normal operation of the computer would crash.

Clear CMOS / BIOS Reset is a trick to change the BIOS settings right again (defaulnya / settings from the manufacturer). To do this you do not have to revoke the existing batery on the motherboard but quite menindahkan position CMOS jumper, the jumper is normally installed around the batery.

The things that make the CMOS does not work with normal antaralain caused:

4. Due to too many times without Shutdown of system failure, which resulted in the system does not save the CMOS settings, and CMOS components are ready to save the settings because dimatiin sudden.

If CMOS is disrupted computer usage is not stable, although all components of the computer is not damaged.
To overcome this you have to do repairs CMOS by removing all tersetting in the CMOS memory. The way around that is:

1. Make sure your PC (Computer) you are not connected to the grid.
2. Open your PC's case.
3. After the PC's case in open view on your motherboard socket with writing CLR CMOS Jumper (As shown in the picture above, the jumper settings are usually near the CMOS battery)
4. Pin 1 and pin 2 when the jumper means the Normal position. unplug the jumper and move it to menjumper between pin 2 and pin 3.
5. Once you jumper pin 2 and pin 3, restart the PC, and leave on for half a minute - one minute, kemuidian turn back.
6. After the PCs die, return again Setting Jumper position to the position of jumper pins 1 and 2.
7. Turn on the PC, the PC will prompt you for setting up the Bios, press F1 or Del (depends on orders from the type of motherboard).
8. Select setting Bios to Default Optimise system Bios. then press F10 to save to your memory and exit the Bios.
9. Restart the PC would normally kembal and Works.
10. When the PC has been working with the normal, back Shutdown PC, and cover the PC casing.

If do not want complicated and difficult, just remove the BIOS Battery and let stand for several minutes in the computer is not plugged into electrical power. after a few minutes then reinstall baterynya, and blame the computer.

Do not forget to reset the BIOS settings, clock, date system, and other settings are likely to change.
